Isaac Dulgarian Takes Care of Business at FAC 12: Results, Highlights, Replays
Fighting Alliance Championship 12 – Independence, MO – Sunday, February 6
Fighting Alliance Championship has once again brought top-notch professional MMA to the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri, with FAC 12. The main card featured nine professional bouts, including a featherweight title main event. Additionally, Dana White was in attendance along with the Nelk Boys of the Full Send Podcast, shooting the next episode of ‘Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight’.
Coming off a successful event in December to finish off 2021, FAC started this year off on an even higher note. With four fights on the main card ending by way of knockout, and two by submission, the fighters were certainly there to put on a show in hopes of catching the eye of the UFC president.

Featherweight Championship Main Event
The evening’s main event showcased a battle for the FAC featherweight title between Isaac Dulgarian and TeeJay Britton. Coming into this fight, Dulgarian had finished all four of his professional matches in the first round (2 TKO, 2 Sub.), preceded by four first round victories by stoppage in his amateur career. TeeJay Britton (7-2), entered the cage ready to display the knowledge he holds from his wealth of experience in Mixed Martial Arts, including appearances in Bellator and LFA. Most recently, Britton has been competing in professional boxing with the WFC, where he has knocked out his last two opponents in the first round.
Despite the massive height and reach advantage for Britton, Dulgarian was able to close the distance early on and secure an effortless takedown. Immediately upon bringing the fight to the mat, Dulgarian was going to work in the mounted position. In an attempt to escape, Britton turned and exposed his back, a movement that Isaac took full advantage of as he worked for the choke. Britton sensed the danger of this position and rolled his back to the canvas, while Dulgarian transitioned to maintain the dominant mounted position. By this point he had seen enough, and postured upward to gain enough distance to land a bomb. He began to rain down with furious strikes from the top, catching Britton with several consecutive shots to the jaw, ultimately knocking him out cold.

Bantamweight Co-Main Event
Eduardo Dantas put on an absolute striking clinic versus Jose Alday in the co-main event. Dropping his opponent to the canvas with a nasty left hook in round one, Dantas was ultimately able to finish things with a well-placed head kick in the second round.
