Ismail Naurdiev previews his upcoming Brave CF super welterweight title fight
Ismail Naurdiev has a lot on the line when he heads into his fight on Oct. 19 at Brave CF 63.
For starters, the fight itself holds a lot of value as it will be for the Brave CF 63 super welterweight championship.
Not only is there a title on the line when he meets Marcin Bandel in the Brave CF 63 main event, but the winner likely has major plans on the horizon.
For Naurdiev, he’s focused on getting the win, but he knows if he does claim the title he will likely find himself back in the UFC.
In his first UFC stint, he went 2-2 inside of the octagon and ever since he lost his spot on the roster he has been working hard to get himself back into the glamor promotion in mixed martial arts.
A lot has changed since his time in the UFC and that’s mainly due to his now years of training at Kill Cliff FC, the gym formerly known as Sanford MMA.
In 2018, Naurdiev moved from his home country of Austria to the United States to purpose his MMA career. When he first came to America, he trained at American Top Team in Florida, but shortly after he joined the team at Kill Cliff and hasn’t looked back since.
Prior to the Brave CF super welterweight title fight, Naurdiev spoke with MyMMANews to discuss his matchup with Bandel, having his father in the corner for the first time in his career and his goal of getting back into the UFC.
