“I’m well versed. I’ll listen to anything. I’m not a guy who’s like ‘I don’t listen to country or this or that’…I’m definitely a rap fan and Kevin Gates is my favorite artist…..All the new, young hot artists and some of the OGs. I definitely enjoy that music. It seems like when I’m working out that’s what I like to run to or do my Boxing workouts to.”
Tywan Claxton
“On Wrestling day, I like to listen to country music. Everybody’s like ‘turn that shit off.’….On sparring days, I like to listen to rap and hip hop. That gets me into ym savage mentality. Then on running days, I listen to like Katy Perry and upbeat, happy, girl power music. I’ve got a girl power playlist. ”
Saad Awad
“When I grew up, I was really big into rap. Now it’s not so much rap, I guess it’s more hip hop I like. I’m open to anything. I like a little bit of Reggae sometimes. Sometimes trance when you want to get like really hyped up and have a crazy training session. My wife listens to mainly country. So we’re in the car, that’s all I listen to. It doesn’t bother me at all. I guess you could say I like a little bit of everything.”
