Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2 official after Tommy Fury withdraws from boxing match
Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2 is official after Tommy Fury withdrew from his upcoming boxing match against Paul set for next weekend.
Paul was supposed to fight Fury on December 18 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida in what was going to be one of the biggest boxing matches of the year. However, Fury has been forced to pull out of the fight due to a medical issue and Woodley has agreed to step up on super-short notice to take the rematch. Remember, Paul and Woodley first met back in August in a high-profile boxing match that Paul won via split decision. Four months later and we are now going to see the rematch between these two rivals.
On Monday, the news leaked that Fury was out and that Paul was fighting Woodley again. Not long after, Paul took to his social media to confirm the news and issue a verbal statement about what happened.

“It is official. Tommy Fury is boxing’s biggest bitch. He has pulled out of the fight. The Furys have pulled out of the fight due to a medical condition. Who knows what the f*ck is going on in that camp? I think he has a bad case of pussitis. I still couldn’t believe the news at first, it still doesn’t even seem real. He fumbled the biggest bag of his life. Now he will be watching at home and paying me $60 instead of getting paid millions of dollars to fight me. I’ve fought with a broken nose, I’ve fought sick. Get the f*ck over it, this is boxing. It’s official. He was scared, I think the pressure got to him, the sh*t talk got to him. That’s the bad news, guys,” Paul said.
“The good news is that Mr. Tyron Woodley, we called him up, we’re like, ‘Hey you want to take the fight?’ He has been training. He goes, ‘Sure, I’ll take the fight, let’s do the rematch, run it back.’ I’m giving him $500,000 extra if he can knock me out. Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2, leave no doubt. I didn’t knock him out the first time but I’m coming back. I’m getting that W and I’m getting that crazy highlight-reel knockout. December 18, the show must go on. I’ll see you guys there.”
