Jalin Turner discusses his UFC 272 knockout win over Jamie Mullarkey
Jalin Turner and Jamie Mullarkey were expected to put on a show for the fans at UFC 272. In the lead up to the fight, many media members and fans thought the matchup had Fight of the Night written all over it, however when it was all said and done, the fight was a one sided affair.
As soon as the fight begin, Turner was able to set the tempo with his range and speed and he picked apart Mullarkey and busted up Mullarkey’s nose.
While Turner was cruising through the opening round, Mullarkey was able to hang tight and secure a takedown in the final minute of the round and attempted to make things interesting, but that ended up being Mullarkey’s only real bright spot in the fight.
In the next round, Turner only needed 46 seconds to end the fight as he landed a nice hook to the side of Mullarkey’s head that sent Mullarkey to canvas covering up and fight was waved off seconds later.
The win gives Turner four in a row with all four coming by way of a finish.
