Jeremy Luchau talks 559 Fights upcoming show and career with Iridium Sports Agency
Jeremy Luchau is very important to the sport of mixed martial arts.
For starters, he plans a huge role in the development of young fighters.
Before any fighter becomes a star or makes a big time roster like the UFC, Bellator, PFL, ONE FC, etc., they start their careers off at the amateur level.
In order for the fighters to have amateur fights, they need someone to have a promotion for them to fight in. That’s where Luchau comes in.
Luchau runs the fight promotion 559 Fights and the promotion has been helping amateur fighters get their fights in for a few years now.
In fact, on Sept. 16, 559 Fights will have a historic show at the Visalia Convention Center in California when they have their 100th show.
The moment is exciting for Luchau and has enjoyed the process of running the promotion and he cannot believe that this will be the promotions 100th show.
While helping amateur fighters has been great, Luchau also helps out so many professional fighters as well.
Luchau is the right hand man to Jason House, who runs Iridium Sports Agency, who manages a number of fighters throughout the sports biggest promotions.
Being apart of Iridium has been amazing for Luchau has he’s been able to play a huge part in athletes lives and those moments really come full circle when he see’s fighters like Brandon Moreno, who is under Iridium Sports Agency, win a UFC title.
Between 559 Fights and Iridium Sports Agency, Luchau is a busy man. The schedule can be demanding, but he loves every moment of watching fighters live their best lives.
Luchau did take some time out of his busy schedule to speak with MyMMANews about 559 Fights upcoming 100th show, his favorite moments with the promotion, Iridium Sports Agency, the process he goes through to sign fighters and some big matchups coming up for his athletes.
