Jeremy Stephens scheduled to fight Arnold Allen on Nov. 7
Jeremy Stephens is set to square off against Arnold Allen in a featherweight bout scheduled for Nov. 7. MMA Junkie was first to report the news of the upcoming fight.
Stephens (28-18) is currently on a cold streak in his long historic career as he’s 0-4 with one no contest in his past five fights. His last win came in February of 2018 when he knocked out Josh Emmett. The fan favorite last fought at UFC 249 in May where he lost to Calvin Kattar by a brutal knockout from an elbow.
Meanwhile, Allen (16-1) is red hot as he’s on a nine-fight winning streak, including a perfect 7-0 in his UFC career. He has notable wins over Nik Lentz, Gilbert Melendez and Jordan Rinaldi in that stretch. Recently, Allen was scheduled to fight Emmet back in January, but the fight was cancelled when Emmet withdrew with an injury.
The Nov. 7 card is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. A light heavyweight matchup between Thiago Santos and Glover Teixeira is set to serve as the headliner.
