Jett Grande on Alex O’Neil “It’ll be a good test”
Jett Grande tests skills with Alex O’Neil at Unified MMA 46 on September 23rd. Both fighters are undefeated as professionals with four wins apiece and barring a draw here, someone’s 0 has got to go.
Grande returned to Bowks Talking Bouts and several subjects were discussed in this chat. Excerpts from our conversation are below.

Grande’s thoughts on his Unified MMA 46 opponent Alex O’Neil and it being few years since he last competed
“I do expect him to be improved and maybe even slightly different from his last fights and all that. But I’m also focusing myself. At the end of the day, it’s about what I’m trying to do. It’s about me. I can fight around gameplans and stuff like that but at the end of the day, I’m a very imposing fighter. I’m forward, you know, all this wrestling. Like my gameplans are fairly straightforward depending on how I’m fighting. So yeah, I’m just willing to mix everything up and I’m just going to show all my skills. So that’s the gameplan.”
Jett Grande continued, “He’s shown fantastic cardio in all his fights. He’s a tall guy too. Yeah, he’s in very great shape. So yeah it’ll be a good test to that too.”

Parting thoughts for Jett Grande
“Like you said, this fight card is stacked. I think we’ve got like four UFC vets on this card or something like that. It’s probably the most stacked Unified fight card I think they’ve had. It’s a great event. So if you’re interested in seeing some good local fights, check Unified out. It’ll be a great event. Again thank you to all of my sponsors for supporting me. Thank you to my coaches, thank you to my training partners. thank you to my friends and family for helping me get ready. So yeah, let’s do this and thank you for the interview.”
