Jinh Yu Frey talks Ashley Cummins rematch, fighting in Asia, and much more
Invicta FC’s Jinh Yu Frey talks about her upcoming fight at Invicta FC 39. She rematches Ashley Cummins in a fight that been a rebooked several times due to various injuries.
The pair met previously at Invicta FC 24, with the Texas-based Frey earning a decision victory. Frey later ascended to the top of the division with a pair of victories over Finland’s Minna Grusander. Cummins rebounded with wins over Jéssica Delboni and Stephanie Alba to earn her shot at gold.
The fight sees the return of Frey in Invicta after she’s been fighting outside of the organization including taking a few fights in Asia.
Frey also discusses what she did over the holidays, what training for a rematch is like, and so much more.
Invicta FC 39 takes place Friday, February 7 in Kansas City, Kansas.
