Jiri Prochazka vs. Alex Pereira vacant light heavyweight title fight set as UFC 295 co-main event
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka and former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira are set to clash for the vacant UFC light heavyweight title in the co-main event of UFC 295 on Nov. 11 in New York City.
UFC CEO Dana White announced the matchup on Wednesday for the epic fight card which will be held at Madison Square Garden.

Jamahal Hill vacated the title earlier this year after injury. He defeated Glover Teixeira for the vacant belt in January after Prochazka also vacated the championship due to injury.
Prochazka had defeated Teixeira for the belt in June 2022 and never had the opportunity to defend it because of his injury.
Pereira made his UFC 205-pound debut in July, earning a split decision victory over former champion Jan Błachowicz.
UFC 295 is headlined by a heavyweight title bout between current champion Jon Jones and former champion Stipe Miocic.
