John Brewin excited and grateful for opportunity to shine at BRAVE CF 44
Lightweight John Brewin is returning to the BRAVE Combat Federation cage with his superb striking skills and title-hungry mindset for his first fight in a year at BRAVE CF 44. He takes on veteran Rolando Dy and is ready to take a monumental step towards a title shot with the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world in case he wins this fight, which takes place on November 5th, in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
After an adventure coaching and training in Bali, Indonesia, alongside his mentor Mike Ikilei came to an end, “Trouble” Brewin headed back home to New Zealand and reunited with Aukland’s City Kickboxing gym training twice a day, six days a week, alongside the likes of Dan Hooker and Israel Adesanya.
Luckily for Brewin, the pandemic did not put a halt on BRAVE CF which increased its precautions and safety measures to continue hosting events throughout the year. Despite having his April bout against Sam Patterson postponed due to coronavirus travel restrictions, “Trouble” has secured his return to action and is grateful for the opportunity to compete in these times.
“I wanna thank everyone at BRAVE for keeping things going during this time and giving me a chance to fight. It’s been a long time coming and it’s been some ups and downs in this past year, and I’m excited for a big upswing and I’m excited to get on a plane and do my duty and be a mercenary that I am. I am excited for that,” says Brewin.
Brewin will be featured against ‘’Dy Incredible’’ on a card that will be headlined by a world Lightweight championship fight, as reigning title holder Cleiton ‘’Predator’’ and top contender Amin ‘’Fierceness’’ Ayoub. In case he gets past Rolando, John will be one step closer to facing the winner of the main event in the near future.
