Johnny Knoxville is the new Joe Rogan on Fear Factor
Fear Factor, a once popular television show hosted by current UFC commentator Joe Rogan will be reborn in 2026. Fear Factor will return to network TV with a new host, Johnny Knoxville, a stunt performer, actor, comedian, writer, and producer, best known as the co-creator and star of the MTV reality stunt series Jackass.
The original Fear Factor show was a reality stunt/dare television series that originally aired on NBC from 2001 to 2006, with a revival season in 2011–2012 and another brief run on MTV in 2017–2018.
Hosted primarily by comedian Joe Rogan (in the original NBC run), the show featured contestants competing in a series of extreme physical and mental challenges designed to test their limits of fear, endurance, and disgust.
Fear Factor: The Next Chapter (also known as House of Fear) is a reboot of the reality competition series that will premiere in January 2026 on Fox. Hosted by Johnny Knoxville, the show will feature contestants facing extreme challenges while also navigating a social game with the added element of strategic fear.
