Jon “Lionheart” Tuxford is jacked for his pro debut at Art of War 10
Jon Tuxford will be stepping into the cage for the first time and earning a paycheck. On November 10th, the reigning amateur AOW heavyweight champion, makes the cut to light heavyweight (205) and leaves his ammy status in the dust. Jon is part of Mike Bickings stacked card at Art of War 10 from the Spooky Nook in Manheim, PA.
THE MAN ACROSS THE CAGE
James Crumpler (1-0) will be “Lionheart” Tuxford’s opponent for his pro debut. When I asked Jon about Crumpler, he tells me…” He looks like your typical hardcore wrestler and has some very good credentials. He looks like he wants to set up the fight for some ground and pound and if that’s the case, it will be a very short night for him if he wants to do that.” ( You can hear our entire interview on the link below)
Jon is very confident in his jiu-jitsu. He’s been practicing for over 13 years and believes he can finish via submission if he winds up in the guard position. Tuxford has also been training his stand-up with Bob Bitner and has no problem going toe to toe and exchanging. This is setting up to be a very interesting matchup. Jon will have his herd of Lionheart fans in attendance, as usual.
I will be cageside with Big Homie, Justin Haskell for commentary and MyMMANews will have live results and a full recap.
