Jorge Masvidal says he’s healthy, expresses frustration in finding opponent: “These little b****es don’t want to sign the contract”
UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal is once again fully healthy, and he’s frustrated with other contending welterweights who refuse to sign a contract to fight him. “Gamebred” was scheduled to face Leon Edwards at UFC 269 this month, but had to withdraw from the fight due to a rib injury.
On his official YouTube channel released a short video providing an update on his health while also calling out potential opponents in Edwards, former teammate Colby Covington, and Conor McGregor. Masvidal has been linked to potential fights with all three of the aforementioned names this year, and he’s ready to fight.
In his video, the former ‘BMF’ champion with a health status update as well as callouts for multiple potential opponents.
“I’m off the injury list, and these little b*tches don’t want to sign the contract. The contract has been handed, it’s in their f***ing face, they know I’m off the injury list, I’m trying to get paychecks.”
Most recently, Jorge Masvidal was called out by undefeated pro boxer Jake Paul who knocked out former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in their rematch fight last week. Masvidal, who shot down Paul’s offer for a boxing fight, challenged him to a fight in the UFC and while there was no response, the highly-popular UFC contender made sure to include Paul in his list of callouts.
“When you little p*ssies get word of calling my name out and actually want to sign the contract, from that little actress that works at the Disney channel, I forgot his name, that just fought [Paul], that little b*tch who sells cheap ass whiskey [McGregor], to the fragile motherf***er that’s always getting his face broken [Covington]. All you little b*tches can get it, man. To the one that’s in England [Edwards] talking s*it, you too. Come on, one of you sign the dotted line, let’s go man. Yes, I’m gonna embarrass you and knock you the f**k out, but you guys are going to make a lot of money in the process.”
It’s clear that Jorge Masvidal has plenty of potential opponents in mind and after recovering from his injury, he’s healthy and ready to fight again. With plenty of grudge match opponents potentially available for him, Masvidal was also called out by Belal Muhammad after his own win at UFC Vegas 45, as contenders in the welterweight division look to find clarity at the top of the rankings.
