Justin Jaynes, former UFC fighter, suspended 18 months for positive cocaine test
Justin Jaynes, 36, has been suspended 18 months by the Nevada Athletic Commission following a positive drug test after his most recent fight in October 2025.
“Guitar Hero” Jaynes, who fought for the UFC five times between 2020 and 2021, will not be eligible to compete again until after April 24, 2027 according to a report from MMA Fighting.
The commission, on Wednesday, voted and approved an adjudication agreement after Jaynes tested positive for the cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine following a win in Tuff-N-Uff. The violation was Jaynes’ third anti-doping infraction.
He was also fined $200 — which was 40 percent of his fight purse — along with $250.60 in prosecution fees.
