Karate Combat’s Ross Levine Mimicking Giga Chikadze for Calvin Kattar’s Camp

Undefeated Karate Combat middleweight Ross Levine talks about working with Calvin Kattar ahead of his Jan. 15 main event against Giga Chikadze. Ross also talks about how he linked up with Kattar, how he’s looking in camp and what type of preparation they’ve done ahead of next Saturday.

“It’s fun, obviously there’s a size disparity (between me and Giga), I’m a lot bigger. I try to mimic a lot of the things that Giga is doing. Just giving him the right looks, I studied a lot of tape and watched the way he sets up his kicks. There’s just not a lot of people that can do those types of things. For Tyson (Kattar’s coach) to get in touch with me … it’s not the just sparring rounds but the conversations we’ve had in between. Just try to prepare him the best we can.”
