Kevin Holland to fight this weekend against Joaquin Buckley
Kevin Holland couldn’t find last weekend so instead, he’ll fight this weekend.
MMA Fighting reported that Holland will fight UFC newcomer Joaquin Buckley this Saturday at UFC Vegas 6.
Holland (17-5) was scheduled to fight last weekend at UFC Vegas, but his opponent Trevin Giles, fainted just moments before walking out to the octagon. Giles was transported to the hospital following the incident. The UFC made hail Mary attempt to book Holland and Ed Herman at the last minute, but the fight did not take place.
Holland will come into the fight with a 4-2 record in the UFC. He lost his UFC debut to eventual light heavyweight title challenger Thiago Santos in 2018 and then went on to win four of his next five fights following that loss.
Buckley (10-2) will make his UFC debut just days after picking up a win in the LFA promotion. Prior to fighting in LFA, the prospect also had a brief stint in Bellator as well.
