Kevin Holland will now fight Charlie Ontiveros on Saturday
Kevin Holland will have a new opponent this weekend at UFC Vegas 12.
Originally, the 27-year-old was scheduled to fight Makhmud Muradov, but Muradov withdrew from the fight. With Holland needing an opponent, MMA Fighting reported that Charlie Ontiveros has stepped up to the plate and will take an extremely short notice fight for his UFC debut.
Holland (19-5) is looking to increase his winning streak to four in a row and his fourth win of 2020. So far this year, Holland has posted victories over Anthony Hernandez, Joaquin Buckley and Darren Stewart. Not only has Holland been extremely active this year, but all of his fights have taken place after the UFC returned to action from the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Ontiveros (11-6) is currently on a two-fight winning streak in the Fury FC promotion. Not only will this be his first UFC fight, but it will also be his first of 2020. His last win came in December of 2019.
