Khabib Nurmagomedov purchases shares of UFC ownership
Khabib Nurmagomedov, a former UFC lightweight champion and arguably one of the greatest mixed martial artists to have ever competed inside the octagon, is now a shareholder in the UFC.
Endeavour, the UFC’s parent company, recently became a publicly traded entity and it was at a press conference in Moscow that the 32-year-old future Hall-of-Famer from Russia opened up about his new investment.
MMA journalist Igor Lazorin captured the clip below:
“Who gave you that information? Yes, I am already there,” Nurmagomedov said. “UFC has already gone to IPO and I have some part of the shares.”
The former champion was then asked a question about the company’s decision making and if there is a possibility that he will be involved.
“Yes, it is,” Nurmagomedov said. “We discussed this topic a lot with Dana White in our meetings. I see great prospects for UFC. They went to IPO and they have very great prospects.” Khabib said. “I don’t like gifts. We can say that I bought the UFC stock. This will be true.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov also recently purchased Russian MMA promotion, Eagle Fighting Championship, for a reported $1 million.
“The Eagle” Nurmagomedov retired in 2020 with a professional record of 29-0. UFC President Dana White has attempted on multiple occasions to lure the former champ back into competition but it hasn’t worked out. Nurmagomedov’s most recent win was a second round submission of Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in October 2020.
