Kyle Sefcik putting in the work to help others

Video interview with Kyle Sefcik above

Kyle Sefcik is a family man with three boys.  He a gym owner, and a professional fighter.  Sefcik has even more missions that he is tending to.   When I saw that Kyle was visiting Philadelphia, I was curious to see how the City of Brotherly Love was treating him and what was his purpose traveling down I-95 from his home state of Maryland. Following him on social media, I earned much respect for the time and effort he was putting in trying to save people one life at a time.

The Ugliness

Kensington is nationally known as one of the ugliest, and saddest places in the country.  Many young soles are lost there and too few of them will ever find their way.  It is a once proud Philadelphia suburb that has morphed into a drug haven.  Sefcik is not afraid to get out there and help in any way he can.  Preaching through his faith, he has passionately given his heart to help people who he doesn’t even know.

His therapy

Kyle tells MyMMANews…

“It can really be draining.  Me and my family are out here giving our time, our energy, our resources to truly help others.  But for me and any martial artist knows this…you have to stay training. It is our therapy.  I always say, it’s Jesus and jiu-jitsu.  I go to the word, and I go training.  I thank God I got linked up with the Migliarese brothers at Balance Studios.  They have been giving me awesome training.  I got to work with wrestling coach, Mike Wilcox and all of those UFC guys at Marquez MMA.  Being able to spend time with these high-level guys who can put it on you I love it.”

Please check out our interview on the link above to see more about his visit to Philadelphia.  You will appreciate the passion that Kyle Sefcik has.
