Interview with Lance Gibson above

This Saturday, October 16, Bellator 268 brings an absolutely dynamic card to the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Featuring the semi-finals for the Bellator Light Heavyweight Grand Prix, Bellator 268 also features the return of “Fearless” Lance Gibson Jr. who will put his undefeated record on the line as he faces off against Raymond Pina. Coming off of his first bout that went all 3 rounds, Gibson wasn’t satisfied with the way he performed, but ultimately accepts the in-cage time he gained in his outing against Marcus Surin at Bellator 257.

“Having that experience was more than all of my other fights combined,” Gibson admits. Continuing, “I would’ve loved the finish but I’m going to get a finish this next time!”

Gibson’s opponent, Raymond Pina is coming off of quite an extensive layoff, competing last in October of 2019. A layoff, Gibson intends to exploit and gas his opponent early.

“I love finishing fights,” Gibson exuberantly exclaims. “Something about it feels so natural,” He continues. “I don’t get over excited after I finish a fight because I’m not surprised. You shouldn’t survive me,” he reminds fans and potential opponents. “Fighting with two years off against me is going to be very difficult,” he insists. “You’re going against someone that’s deadly in there and vicious from all positions. It’s going to be a tough fight for him. A different fight for him for sure,” Gibson confidently says.

With days left ahead of his return to the Bellator cage, Gibson is exuding confidence and ready to take out his upcoming opponent in Raymond Pina.
