Lennox Lewis on Jake Paul fighting Mike Tyson – “I don’t want him to get hurt”

Former three-time world heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis has weighed in on his thoughts about the upcoming Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight.

Lewis, also a two-time lineal champion, and the last heavyweight to hold the undisputed championship, defeated former undisputed heavyweight champion Tyson by knockout in the eighth round during their June 2002 fight.

The British-Canadian Olympic gold medalist was asked by a TMZ reporter if he will be watching the exhibition match on July 20 at the AT & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“Absolutely, absolutely, it’s going to be a great fight,” Lewis said. “I’m looking forward to it.”

The reporter then asked, “Do you wish it was a sanction fight and not an exhibition like it’s going to be?”

Lewis responded: “No, cuz I would feel really bad for Jake Paul. I don’t want him to get hurt.”
