Leon Edwards sounds off on welterweight division, previews fight against Tyron Woodley
Leon Edwards is man on top of the world after signing a new deal with UFC. The welterweight contender is also set to take on Tyron Woodley in what is officially a number one contender’s fight, the Englishman confirms that the UFC has told him that he is next following a victory over the former champion.
Edwards also gives his take on the Kamaru Usman-Colby Covington fight and also gives his thoughts on Covington’s shtick.
One name that has been slated for potentially the next title shot is of course Jorge Masvidal, but Edward says he isn’t worried about him taking his place as the UFC has officially told him that he gets the next title shot following a win over Woodley.
Edwards also discusses the crowd at UFC London and more ahead of his main event in March.
