LFA 98: Josh Fremd vs Bruno Oliveira live results
LFA 98 emanates from Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas on Friday, January 29th. The latest Legacy Fighting Alliance event has eight bouts scheduled overall and broadcasts on UFC Fight Pass at 9 PM EST.
In the main event, Josh Fremd and Bruno Oliveira will test skills at 185 pounds. Fremd has prior Bellator MMA experience but is looking to notch his third consecutive victory under the LFA banner, specifically.
Conversely, Oliveira is looking to return to the win column after having a three-fight win streak snapped in his November loss on Contender Series to Carlos Ulberg.
In the evening’s co-feature, JJ Okanovich and Lucas Clay will lock horns in a showcase between 155 pounders. Okanovich has a 7-1 record and the AKA product is riding a seven-fight win streak heading into his LFA 98 bout. The Bosnian Bomber returns to the cage after a July 2019 unanimous decision win over Christian Lohsen on Contender Series.
For Clay, he has had a similar spell of activity as his last outing took place in November 2019. Lucas Clay secured a third-round triangle choke victory over Craig Fruth at HFC 41 and is on a two-fight win streak overall.
There are a couple of debutant fighters early on in the card. And a pair of undefeated fighters looking to maintain their unblemished records (3-0 Tabatha Ricci and 8-0 Richard Palencia). Also, 4-1 lightweight Austin Clem takes on a man who is the owner of the more unheralded MMA nicknames nowadays. Clem takes on Dakota Hairy Bush.
