Lilian Garcia talks PFL, WWE, Music and Podcast Careers
Lilian Garcia can’t stop smiling knowing that the PFL is finally back in action.
The last time the PFL ring announcer stepped inside of a cage came on New Years Eve of 2019 for the PFL finale. Last year, the PFL made the decision to cancel their 2020 season due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
Now on Friday, the PFL will kick off their 2021 season with former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and Clay Collard meeting in the main event.
Garcia, who is well known for her 15 year career as a ring announcer in the WWE, spoke to MyMMANews ahead of the PFL’s return. In her interview, she spoke about how she started her career with the promotion, her excitement for the PFL’s 2021 season and her love for the sport.
Outside of the PFL, Garcia also talked about career with the WWE. She discussed how landed the job with the company, some of her memories with the company and the tragic death of WWE superstar Eddie Guerrero.
The WWE also opened up other avenues for Garcia like her singing and podcasting careers, which Garcia also talked about in her interview. She told MyMMANews that her music career will pick up this year as she will be releasing new music.
