Lodune Sincaid, Ultimate Fighter Season 1 alum, dead at age 45

Lodune Sincaid, 45, a cast member on the Ultimate Fighter Season 1, was has reportedly passed away. Today’s unfortunate news was announced through the professional mixed martial artist’s official website.  No cause of dead has yet been listed.

“Lodune Sincaid was found dead April 7, 2019,” the statement read. “Lodune was a true friend and will be missed by those close to him as well as those who crossed his path during his time on this earth. He held no grudges and left this life in peace.”

Known as “The Vanilla Gorilla,” Sincaid held a pro MMA record of 15-9 and won the WEC light heavyweight title in 2006.

Lodune went pro in 2001 amassing an impressive 11-0 record. Catching eye of the UFC, Lodune was chosen along with 15 other of America’s top MMA fighters for the inaugural season of the “TUF” television show. There he was coached by Randy Couture and was knocked out by Bobby Southworth in the opening round of the tournament. He then suffered his first official career loss to Nate Quarry in the TUF 1 Finale.
