Lupita Godinez and Sarah Alpar off UFC Vegas 27 fight card
Lupita Godinez and Sarah Alpar will not being fighting this weekend at UFC Vegas 27.
Godinez was unable to to get a Visa in time for the fight and therefore the UFC was forced with scrap the bout from this weekend’s card.
MyMMANews first learned of the bout cancellation from TKO Combat Sports & Entertainment, who manage Alpar. The management team would also make the announcement on their facebook page. According to their post, Alpar will be rescheduled to fight as soon as possible.
Godinez also posted on her Instagram account that she will not be fighting this weekend. She took the fight on short notice after just fighting a few weeks ago on April 17.
Alpar was looking to make her first appearance of 2021. She made her UFC debut in September in which she lost to Jessica-Rose Clark.
