Body of former GLORY Kickboxing champ Marc de Bonte found, investigation underway
The body of former GLORY kickboxing champion Marc de Bonte was found November 24 in the Oirschotse channel in the Netherlands. The former welterweight champion went missing the night of November 4 into November 5.
According to reports de Bonte went missing after he attended a party with his colleagues in the Journal Else gym Training Unit. From there he went to a friend in Turnhout and then he would ride to his girlfriend in Best. His car was found in Best, but Marc was no trace.
He was found dead at the young age of 26.
The 84-10-1 Belgian put on a clinic in his last performance in September qualifying for Kunlun Fight’s 80 kg 2016 tourney Final 4.
