Marcus Buchecha ahead of ONE: 158 – “I’m feeling really confident with everything right now”
Marcus Buchecha has already established himself in the world of jiu jitsu competition.
The two-time ADCC champion and 13-time Jiu Jitsu World Champion has successfully transitioned to mixed martial arts and while still young in MMA career, Buchecha boasts an undefeated 2-0 record going in to ONE: 158 this weekend.
The 32-year-old Brazilian will tangle with Simon Carson (2-1) at ONE Championship’s event in Singapore on Friday.
In an article posted by The Jakarta Post on Tuesday, Buchecha talked about his early successes.
“I have been training in pretty much everything. It’s MMA, so you have to be complete everywhere, [in] all the aspects. My striking is really good, my grappling got better, and my wrestling [also]. I’m feeling really confident with everything right now. Every time that I train, every time that I [compete in ONE], I feel more comfortable than the previous time.”
