Matt “White Chocolate” Turnbull believes his team is the best and has him ready for war at ROC 67
Matt “White Chocolate” Turnbull trains every day with a team that he considers family at Martinez BJJ in Northeast Philadelphia. They sweat, bleed, and laugh together through good times and bad. In this current fight camp, Turnbull had six other teammates also scheduled for fights all within a three-week span. Matt Turnbull says he’s never been more prepared.
Friday, February 22, Turnbull (1-1) will test himself once gain as he takes on Chris Disonell (1-1) in a featherweight bout for Louis Neglia and Dead Serious Promotions Ring of Combat 67 at the Tropicana Casino and Hotel Resort in Atlantic City, NJ. Please check out our interview in the link above. White Chocolate tells me that he would love to stand and bang but is no slouch on the ground. Matt will enter the cage alone, but knows that his coaches and brothers and sisters have put him in a spot that will enable success.
Turnbull’s pro debut was voted the MyMMANews 2018 Pro Fight of the Year. He may have lost on the scorecards, but he convinced himself and any who saw this war, that he belongs in that cage and is on a mission to do greater things. We will be cageside for live results and photos. Stay right here for the best combat sports coverage on the planet!
