Watch your axes ……. Miesha Tate has serious axe throwing skills
Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate has some serious axe throwing skills. The retired professional mixed martial artist writes on her Instagram, “Constantly discovering new talents so everybody better watch their axes! #getoutside.”
Tate retired from MMA competition in November 2016, shocking the world with her announcement following a loss to Raquel Pennington at UFC 205. She came into UFC 205 as the No. 1 ranked female bantamweight in the UFC. She won the title back in March 2016 defeating Holly Holm at UFC 196, and then lost the belt to Amanda Nunes at UFC 200. She also held a title in Strikeforce.
