Myktybek Orolbai (12-1-1) recaps his second-round submission victory over Uros Medic (9-2) at UFC Fight Night on Nov. 18. Myktybek also discussed getting signed to the UFC on short notice, flying to Kyrgyzstan on Monday and when we could see him back in the cage next.
“Before Ramadan, February or March we’re going to see him in the cage.” Orolbai said through his translator. “But this is only the first step, becoming a UFC fighter. I’m going to show you guys a lot more than that. I don’t just want to be a UFC fighter; I want to be the champion and I want to be the biggest guy in the UFC. And to take the belt and bring it back to Kyrgystan.”
