Natan Schulte previews his fight against Marcin Held at PFL 1
Natan Schulte ruled over the PFL lightweight division in 2018 and 2019 as he posted a 9-0-1 record on way to winning back-to-back lightweight champions and million dollar checks.
After two dominating seasons, Schulte was forced to miss out on the 2020 season as PFL canceled their season due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
Now in 2021, Schulte will look to claim his third title in row and his third million dollar check. That journey will begin on April 23 when the PFL kicks off their season.
Schulte (20-3) will fight Marcin Held (25-7) in the co-main event. The two fighters know each other well as they were former teammates at American Top Team, where Schulte still trains. The card will be headlined by former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, who makes his PFL debut against Clay Collard.
Schulte spoke to MyMMANews about his upcoming fight, his thoughts on Pettis signing with PFL and his roadmap to a third straight PFL title. You can watch his full interview in the video above.
