OKTAGON 63 Weigh-in Results: Buchinger vs. Nafuka headliner official
All 20 fighters competing at OKTAGON 63 tomorrow night (Saturday, November 9) weighed in earlier today ahead of a card packed full of entertaining contests. The event in Bratislava, Slovakia, features a ‘Battle of Generations’ and athletes from eleven different nations will look to steal the show, advancing their own journeys in the process.
In the main event, European MMA legend, Ivan Buchinger (43-10), collides with rising star, Hafeni Nafuka (10-1), in a crossroads fight for both men at a catchweight of 73kg/161lbs. Former title challengers will square off in the co-headliner when top Hungarian fighter, Máté Kertész (15-7, 1NC), meets well-rounded, ‘Apollo’ Silva (28-12-1, 1NC), in an 80kg/176lbs catchweight matchup.
England’s ‘King of Violence’, Ammari Diedrick (6-2), throws down with local favourite, Robert Pukač (17-13-1), at a catchweight of 79.5kg/175lbs in a feature bout. Furthermore, dangerous finisher, Karol Ryšavý (13-7), takes on German talent, Gjoni Palokaj (9-3), at featherweight.
Elsewhere on the card, OKTAGON Challenge veteran, František Fodor (10-8), faces all-action, Damien Lapilus (17-18-2, 3NC), in a 72kg/159lbs catchweight fight. Inspiring cancer survivor, Aaron Aby (16-9-1), clashes with UFC veteran, Zhalgas Zhumagulov (16-9), at flyweight and striking phenom, Radek Roušal (3-1), meets Irish newcomer, Jack Maguire (2-1), in a 68kg/150lbs catchweight contest.
OKTAGON 63 will be broadcast live on OKTAGON.TV internationally as well as worldwide on the global platform, DAZN, in all markets except from CZ/SK. Fans in France can also tune in on RMC Sport and viewers in Greece can watch on Cosmote.tv. The action begins at 5pm GMT/6pm CET/12pm ET/9am CT.
