Oleksandr Usyk purports UFC offer from Dana White
UFC president Dana White has purportedly reached out with an Oleksandr Usyk UFC Offer.
The Ukrainian warrior indicated this in a recent interview and Twitter discourse began popping up thereafter.
Oleksandr Usyk: "Recently Dana White wrote to me if I would like to try myself in the UFC. I replied, 'Send an offer, I am ready.' So I have many options for what to do. I'm not going to sit still and wait for Joshua and Fury to fight. I'll find someone to box with." [@XSport_ua]

Usyk is the WBO mandatory contender for their heavyweight hardware which is presently held by Anthony Joshua.
This belt would be held up for quite a while though as Joshua and Tyson Fury have signed on for a pair of bouts. These contests to crown an undisputed champion will keep the WBO title held up for the entirety of the calendar year.
This congestion at the top of the division could possibly lead to Usyk losing the big gloves for a bit. Donning some four-ounce gloves in 2021 would be an intriguing turn of events for Oleksandr Usyk.
Oleksandr Usyk UFC Offer
The 18-0 professional pugilist has fought his last couple of prizefights at heavyweight. But the bulk of Usyk’s resume is as a cruiserweight.
Beyond the unblemished record as a pro, Usyk is a former Olympic gold medalist. He has rattled off close to 350 wins as an amateur.
Oleksandr Usyk has compiled the most impressive resume at cruiserweight since the days of Evander Holyfield. Usyk became the undisputed titlist in that category by capturing the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring championships.
This cruiserweight context could present options for Usyk at both heavyweight and light heavyweight in the UFC.
It’s a curious turn of events because a lot of the MMA crossover rhetoric was centric on his last opponent. Derek Chisora was talking a fair bit about a Bellator MMA tenure in the lead-up to his recent bout with Usyk.
Usyk’s last outing saw him garner a unanimous decision victory over Derek Chisora. He captured the WBO intercontinental heavyweight belt on Halloween 2020.
There are many question marks that remain on Usyk’s possible MMA crossover. What is his familiarity with Jiu-Jitsu, his aptitude for defending a takedown, his ability to check a leg kick, etc?
