ONE Announces N Sang vs Bigdash Rubber Match for February
The N Sang vs Bigdash rubber match is set for the early 2022 ONE Championship schedule.
ONE figurehead Chatri Sityodtong confirmed the news of this trilogy clash between Aung La N Sang and Vitaly Bigdash. The organization’s CEO did so on a virtual media day following ONE: Heavy Hitters on January 14th.
The promotion is back at Singapore Indoor Stadium in February and this huge tie-breaker bout will emanate from there.
The Burmese Python looks to string together back-to-back wins against a familiar fighter. A pugilist who is looking at advancing his own win streak to three straight.
N Sang vs Bigdash rubber match
In the first fight, Vitaly Bigdash won via unanimous decision and defended his ONE middleweight championship against N Sang. This transpired in January 2017 at ONE: Quest for Power.
The sequel bout between the two also saw the two combatants go the distance. But with a different victor that time out.
Aung La N Sang captured the ONE middleweight crown via UD in June 2017 at ONE: Light of a Nation.
Bigdash’s previous prizefight saw him submit Fan Rong via third-round guillotine choke at ONE: Winter Warriors II in December 2021.
That winter win broke up a dormant period of three years away from combative competition for Vitaly Bigdash. A myriad of injuries kept the Russian warrior outside of the Circle.
But he is healed up, ready to reintegrate into the title hunt, and specifically called for this bout with the pride of Myanmar to vault back to that tier.

N Sang’s last bout inside the ONE Circle saw him knockout Leandro Ataides in the first frame of their July 2021 collision at ONE: Battleground.
The former dual division titleholder at middleweight and light heavyweight looks to reascend the hierarchy within ONE Championship with a big win here.
