ONE Championship announces ONE: Winter Warriors card in December

ONE Championship announces the full card for ONE: Winter Warriors. The event broadcasts live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium and goes down on Friday, December 3rd.

In the main event, reigning ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Champion Regian Eersel returns to the Circle to defend his crown and does so against the ONE Championship debutant Islam Murtazaev. This prizefight was supposed to transpire in March but a withdrawal on the challenger’s end bumped this collision to the fourth quarter of the calendar year.

In the co-feature of the show, the number two-ranked atomweight Stamp Fairtex takes on the division’s number four ranked contender Ritu Phogat for the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Championship. After many twists and turns, we have now found ourselves at the intersection point of these two tournament brackets.

The winner of the finals not only garners a beautiful grand prix championship belt. But will punch their ticket for a clash with ONE Women’s Atomweight world champion Angela Lee in early 2022.

In an intriguing affair for the lightweight divisional hierarchy, number five ranked Timofey Nastyukhin tests skills with #3 lightweight Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev. Both men have competed at the very top of the weight category. But only one can emerge victorious here and resume their ascent back to the top of the heap.

Jiu-jitsu leviathan Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida looks to go 2-0 in MMA when he clashes with brick-fisted Kang Ji Won. A volatile heavyweight affair that could create a lot of momentum for the winner towards a possible 2022 title shot.
