ONE Championship Rankings Update (September 2021)

A new ONE Championship Rankings Update is out there.

Previously unranked Sitthichai is now the number four Featherweight Muay Thai fighter. After a kickboxing loss to Superbon, Sitthichai collected a Muay Thai win via split decision over Tawanchai at ONE: Battleground III in late August.

That movement results in Samy Sana dropping one spot. He is now number five within that combat sport’s divisional hierarchy.

There is a lot of rankings movement in the Atomweight division with the backdrop of the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix kickoff.

Seo Hee Ham jumps up three spots in the hierarchy to now become the number two ranked Atomweight. Curiously though, Denice Zamboanga remains the number one ranked Atomweight despite losing to Seo Hee Ham.

Ham emerged victorious over Zamboanga via split decision at ONE: Empower. That decision was then upheld after being further reviewed thereafter.

Stamp Fairtex moves up one spot to now become the number three Atomweight. Stamp defeated Alyona Rassohyna via split decision to even up their series at one apiece and to punch her ticket to the tournament semi-finals.

Ritu Phogat was not ranked prior to this update but now finds herself at number four.

Phogat defeated Meng Bo via unanimous decision on September 3rd which caused Bo to drop three spots. Meng Bo is presently number five in the ONE Atomweight hierarchy as of this writing.

In the Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing world, previously unranked Anissa Meksen now finds herself at number four.

After securing the lone finish on the history-making ONE: Empower, the decorated striker not only secured a rankings spot. But also secured the next crack at the ONE Atomweight Kickboxing world championship against Janet Todd.

Anne Line Hogstad moves down one spot and is now at number five in the ONE Atomweight Kickboxing rankings.
