Parker Porter previews his upcoming fight against Alan Baudot
Parker Porter is currently wrapping up his training camp for his UFC Vegas 48 matchup with Alan Baudot on Feb. 19.
While you might think this is the time to start winding down before fight night, Porter is doing the opposite and he’s picking up the intensity.
Porter is a big guy for the heavyweight division and has some of the biggest legs you’ll see in the octagon. Part of the reason why he’s so big and strong is due to his love for lifting weights.
The Connecticut native often shares photos and videos on his Instagram account of himself lifting real heavy weight and right now as he’s just a few days away from fight night, he is still lifting heavy and plans on maxing out right before the fight.
The strength Porter takes so much pride in having maybe a big factor in his upcoming fight. Porter’s opponent spent the majority of his fighting career in lighter weight classes and Porter believes his strength may give him the upper hand in the matchup.
Prior to the fight, Porter spoke with MyMMANews about his upcoming fight, his current training camp and his former opponent Jon Jones moving up to the heavyweight division.
Aside from discussing things inside the fight game, Porter also discussed life out side the cage as he is also a gym owner and proud father of three boys.
You can watch his full interview in the video above.
