PFL 4 Results From Atlantic City
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) continues the 2019 season with PFL 4 from Atlantic City, New Jersey. The welterweight and women’s lightweight competitors take the stage in The Ocean Resort and Casino with Kayla Harrison looking to continue her winning streak and Ray Cooper III looking to add to his five points earned earlier in the season.
Genah Fabian opened up the card with her quick finish over Moriel Charneski. Her left straight seemed to find it’s mark at the start of the round and earned her six points with a first-round TKO.

Larissa Pacheco got her fight to the ground quickly to make short work of Bobbi Jo Dalziel who seemed out of her element when mounted by Pacheco. While she fought hard to escape, it lead to the armbar that won Pacheco the fight.
David Michaud got poked in the eye and kicked in the groin when he faced Handesson Ferreira. It seemed to push him to earn six points and a first-round finish by TKO, while he won he was dealing with injuries in camp and said the eye poke left his vision a little blurry.
In a fight that seemed like it would go the way of Sadibou Sy’s, a very gassed Glaico Franca was able to turn the tide in the final round by controlling Sy on the ground and securing a TKO victory.
Ray Cooper III was a heavy favorite going into the fight and the takedown he secured early made it seem things would go his way. However, when they exchanged back on the feet it would be Howard who reminded fans of why he has the nickname, “Doomsday” when he dropped Cooper and won in the first round.

Joao Zeferino versus Bojan Velickovic was the first fight of the night to go to a decision. Zeferino seemed to want to get the fight to the ground early. Credit to Velickovic for fending him off but it would still keep Zeferino in control enough for three rounds to win the judges over.
Kayla Harrison seems to have gone back to the well of her superior Judo in her match with Morgan Frier. Harrison scored a quick takedown and did a lot of ground and pound before getting the submission finish in round 1.
