PFL welterweight and light heavyweight rosters for April 29th
PFL welterweight and light heavyweight rosters for April 29th have been revealed.
The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has been announcing details for the 2021 regular season beginning April 23 during primetime on a myriad of ESPN platforms. 170lbs and 205lbs are the showcase divisions for the late-April show.
Ray Cooper III’s whirlwind 2019 campaign cemented him as the top 170 pounder in PFL. The KO artist returns in the hopes of a repeat season. Some of his possible opposition includes MMA superstar Rory MacDonald; former Bellator champion and UFC title contender. The man who ended Cooper’s 2018 run in the championship final, Magomed Magomedkerimov will also participate this calendar year. 2019 runner-up David Michaud, Nikolai Aleksakhin, Joao Zeferino, and Sadibou Sy comprise the rest of the division.
Light heavyweight champion Emiliano Sordi looks to follow up what some call one of the most dominant PFL season’s ever. Submission magician Jordan Young looks to impress this year. As do Chris Camozzi, Tom Lawlor, Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira, and 2019 runner-up Jordan Johnson. Smealinho Rama, Dan Spohn, and Marthin Hamlet also serve to bolster the weight category.

The light heavyweights are stacked as well with Sordi and all the new top talent we’ve added. April 29 is going to be a fun night of fights.”
