UFC 255, Vegas 15, Cage Warriors 119
In the first segment, Blaine and TomTom talk about the upcoming UFC 255 card. The two guys dive deep into the matchups with Figueiredo and Perez, as well as the co-main event with Shevchenko-Maia. There are discussions on the future for Shevchenko and Figueiredo as well, including a bantamweight jump for Figgy, himself. Blaine and Tom talk about UFC 255 to open up the show.
In the second segment, Martin Day joins the show and talks about his upcoming fight with Anderson dos Santos at UFC Vegas 15. Day comes into this fight ready to get back in the win column and is ready for everything dos Santos throws his way. In addition to his fight, Day goes in on his last fight and how he’s improved, COVID-19 training in Hawaii, and the thought of teaching Derrick Lewis how to surf.
In the headliner on the episode, The Violent One returns, Jack Grant himself! Grant was recently announced to be fighting for the vacant lightweight title on Cage Warriors 119 in December. Grant looks to bring the fun to the main event of the second Cage Warriors trilogy titled, “The Trilogy Strikes Back.” The lightweight belt in Cage Warriors always bodes well for fighters, having names like Conor McGregor, Stevie Ray, Jai Herbert, and most recently, Mason Jones. With a win, Grant can be just one phone call away for a shot to the big show and to join the UFC.
