Prajanchai says inspiration for walkout outfits comes from the fans
With over 400 fights to his credit, Prajanchai PK Saenchai is well known in the Muay Thai community, but it was the outfit he wore in his ONE Championship debut against Sam-A Gaiyanghadao that caught many fans’ eyes.
It was during that initial for the promotion that Prajanchai captured the ONE Championship strawweight Muay Thai championship.
Now scheduled to meet Joseph Lasiri in the co-main event of ONE: 157 on Friday in Singapore. When asked what kind of outfit he may wear to the May 20 contest, Prajanchai said, “Let’s see on the fight date. Maybe there is a surprise. Let’s see on that day.”
The 26-year-old striking specialist from Thailand was then asked about the inspiration for his walkout outfits.
“Initially, it’s from the fans,” Prajanchai responded. “And I see the style and it’s similar to me. The speed so I choose the character The Flash. So initially, I talked to my manager, and I want people to try to recognize me, and how I can make this thing with the walkout and it worked. So people were talking about it and the whole world seemed to like my walkout clothes.”
