Rapper Ice Cube – “I’m Dana Black” – Talks new 3 on 3 basketball league

Legendary rapper Ice Cube is designating himself as “Dana Black” as he aims to build his new 3 on 3 basketball league’s success the same way that President Dana White has done for the UFC.

Ice Cube, 53, known acting roles in films like “Friday” and for being a part of the iconic hip-hop group, NWA, started Big3 along with entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz.

The league as of today consists of 12 teams with former NBA players and international players on the roster.

Ice Cube joined the Full Send podcast to talk about the league which first launched in 2017.  Watch below.

“Boxing ignored the mixed martial arts, UFC style of fighting, dismissed it as nobody,” Cube said. “They was on the outside looking in and at this point, UFC is a little more popular. Same thing might happen with the NBA. The playoffs is great, the regular season is boring. They’re dismissing us, so you never know.”
