Unbeaten Jack Shore draws Hunter Azure at UFC's April 10 event

Ricky Simon and Jack Shore meet at July Fight Night

Top 15 bantamweights Ricky Simon and Jack Shore are set to throw down in July for UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs. Rodriguez.

Alex Behunin of Cageside Press was first to announce the bout following Simon’s “contract signed” tweet.

At just 29-years-old, Simon has put together a spectacular resume under the UFC banner since joining the promotion in 2018. The former LFA champion has defeated the likes of Merab Dvalishvili, Ray Borg, and Brian Kelleher in the last few years, topping it off with a stoppage victory over Raphael Assuncao in his last outing.

For his next walk to the octagon, he will take on undefeated Welshman Jake Shore.

With a 16-0-0 record, Shore held the Cage Warriors bantamweight belt before making the move to the UFC. Since then, he has gone on win his first 5 bouts under the promotion including wins over Huner Azure, Luidvik Sholinian, and Timur Vaiev.

With Shore ranked 15th in the division, he will be looking to take Simon’s 12th ranked spot come July 16th.
