Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano finally coming around
We now know the last big fight that has been promised to mixed martial arts fans planning to purchase the upcoming June 24, Bellator MMA pay-per-view from Madison Square Garden.
Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano has been signed.
Yes, former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who has a history with Bellator MMA President Scott Coker from her time in Strikeforce, will return to MMA action when she takes on Gina Carano.
Carano has been away from the sport since losing to Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino for the women’s Strikeforce featherweight title in 2009. Since then the retired MMA fighter has been involved in the entertainment business but has hinted about a possible return to the fight game.
Rousey of course lost her UFC title to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015. She returned in December 2016 to be TKO by current champion Amanda Nunes.
