Rumble on the Rooftop Brings Wrestling Back to the People
Wrestling is back. After COVID-19 canceled the 2020 NCAA Wrestling Tournament, pushed back the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and therefore pushed back the Olympic trials, wrestling is making it’s triumphant return with Rumble on the Rooftop. The wrestling tournament will take place this month, June 28th, and will be streamed on FITE.tv. There will be ten matches in the main event, featuring Jordan Oliver, a two time national champion, and Jason Nolf, a three time national champion.
Olympic gold medalist, Dan Gable, said, “I am starved. I missed a couple of tournaments that I love. I have heard a lot about this event, and I think it could be huge. There is a lot of talk going on, but I think we need to make it a reality and get wrestling. This will be a great start to get us going again.”
Rumble on the Rooftop will put together some of the names we were not given due to the tournaments cancellation.
