Professional Fighters League will take over as the new name of the former World Series of Fighting. The new organization will still be headed by former WSOF President Ray Sefo, although there appears to be a new lineup of investors. According to their Facebook page, “the Professional Fighters League is a Washington D.C.-based company promoting professional events in the sport mixed martial arts. The organization is dedicated to fans and fighters to create the ultimate entertainment experience.”
Beginning in 2018, PFC is to hold a tournament between seven weight classes, over a period of 10 months, presenting seven championship fights, and awarding $10 Million in prize money.
