Serena DeJesus delivers body kick KO – CM Punk reacts
“The Southpaw Outlaw” Serena DeJesus has found herself back in the win column with a victory over Elizabeth Schroder on the preliminary card of Friday night’s Cage Fury Fighting Championships CFFC 130 fight card in Tampa, Florida.
DeJesus, who was rehabbing a severe hand injury that required surgery, has not been in competition since January 2023 when she was defeated by Olga Rubin by way of unanimous decision at Invicta FC 51.
DeJesus, cornered by her best friend and now retired women’s MMA pioneer Roxanne Modafferi, moved her professional MMA record to 6-3 with the hard-fought victory. The 32-year-old competitor fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada, was up on the scorecards entering the second-round. She delivered brutal ground and pound to her opponent after successfully taking her down to the canvas in the first frame.
In the second round, Schroder had a glimpse of hope, and the fight could easily be scored at one round a piece without significant argument. In the third round, and with just seconds left in the fight, DeJesus delivered a body kick that would crumble her opponent and force commentator and professional wrestler (former MMA competitor) CM Punk to react.
Unfortunately, the quality of the stream provided by OnlyFans was very inadequate and you won’t find too many clips of the action on online. The chat on the platform’s live stream was filled with negative comments about the highly pixelated video broadcast.
“I have never been more excited to move to @UFCFIghtPass in my life. That’s just how fucking terrible the stream quality was of the #CFFC130 prelims was,” the 4oz to Freedom X account said after the broadcast switched back over to UFC Fight Pass for the main card.
