That took us to this matchup where, Pavlovich, who was selected as the backup up fighter, will now face Aspinall, who took the fight on two-weeks notice.

Pavlovich lost his UFC debut in 2018 to former title challenger Alistair Overeem, but since then he’s been unbeatable as he’s won his last six fights.

All six of those wins have come by way of a first round knockout and three of them have come against really come good competition as he’s beaten Derrick Lewis, Tai Tuivasa and Curtis Blaydes.

Aspinall is a fun heavyweight to watch as he can wins fights numerous ways.

Since joining the UFC, Aspinall is 6-1 and has won four fights by knockout and two fights by submission. His lone loss in that stretch came to Blaydes in which Aspinall injured his knee 15 seconds into the fight.

Tale of the Tape

Well this is interesting.

Aspinall will be the taller fighter by two inches, but its Pavlovich who has a six inch reach advantage.

The leg reach advantage will favor Aspinall by an inch.

Oddsmakers

They are torn on this fight as they have it as pick ‘em fight.

Prediction

This is a hard one to predict.

Pavlovich has the power to knockout anyone. Aspinall is so well rounded and finishes guys in a number of ways.

One thing that’s for certain is this UFC 295 co-main event is that the fight will not go the distance, but who wins is a toss up.

Question here is how does Aspinall do on a short notice camp? Remember, Pavlovich was selected as the backup fighter for the main event so he was in camp preparing to fight in case something happened to Jones or Miocic.

Honestly, this one can go either way, but since Pavlovich had the full camp, you may have to give him the slight nod here.
